05//10//02 - No swell, no surf, no fun?
Well, no exactly. The swell was small, so we went down to the bukit again for two days.
On day one there was still some surf in the shorebreak of dreamland but packed with about 30 surfers. Later at low tide Balangan offered some nice waved but being quite shallow.
On day two the swell has completely disappeared, so we grabbed our snorcheling stuff and explored the reef at Balangan where we usually sit above waiting for sets coming in.
There are lots of beautiful colored fish living there, that we already spotted when we were sitting in the lineup. Also lots of big "erizos", so one more reason to wear booties when surfing Balangan.
Flo and Janka even saw two white tip reef sharks but unfortunately we couldn't get them on tape.
It was a nice thing to for a day without swell but actually Balangan is much more interesting with waves than without.
