14//09//02 - Famous Uluwatu
As the swell was small and we knew that Uluwatu was the only place with decent breaking waves, we went down on the bukit again.
Uluwatu is a beautiful place offering a reef with a couple of entry points that spread the crowds because the wave doesn't go all the way along the reef.
Getting out is quite easy but sometimes needs some good timing. You have to walk over the reef, so don't forget your reef booties. Also at low tide it can get very shallow, so sometimes you find yourself standing on the reef after a ride.
As Uluwatu is a famous surf spot, it always gets crowded when the swell is small. Also there is a lot of constructing going on on the cliffs where new buildings are popping up.
Although it was quite crowded when we were there, we had some great fun in the water.
