20//08//02 - From FRA to SIN
Now the big day has come. The journey begins....
At 15:00 we left Stuttgart. Benni, Flo's brother, was our driver to Frankfurt who organized a fast car and drove us securely to the Frankfurt Airport.
Check-In in Frankfurt was really easing going, no problems with the weight and our boards were picked up personally and handled with care, more or less.
The flight with Singapore Airlines was quite comfortable and the time passed really quickly also because of the first class entertainment facilites consiting of video games, movies and TV series.
After the arrival at Singapore Airport we had to get all of our baggage and re-check it because we were staying in Singapore for one night stopover. But because of the re-check we could assure that our boards have arrived in South East Asia.
Out of the airport Singapore gave us some really warm welcome with 32°C and an unbelievable humidity.
After a short bus transfer from the airport to our hotel we checked in at the Plaza which in contrast to the heat outside was pretty well airconditioned.
First thing to do was try to start the computer after checking out some European shaving plug in the bathroom of our hotel suite.
